YOUTH ALIVE LIBERIA
Youth Alive Liberia is a Liberian NGO that started in January 2013 but acquired its accreditation in March 2016 as a fully registered non-governmental organization in the Republic of Liberia. Youth Alive Liberia implements integrated youth development programs, intervening in HEALTH, HUMAN RIGHTS, SKILLS DEVELOPMENT and LIVELIHOOD for Youth, Women and Children between the ages 8-35. Country programs run independently after initial support and capacity building from the mother NGO (Youth Alive Uganda). YAL supports PLHIV to advocate for access to HIV treatment and care that aims to increase access to, coverage and utilization of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), comprehensive HIV/AIDS and primary health care services, Gender Based Violence and Peace building among young people. Targeting 80% districts in all geographical regions of Liberia, Youth Alive Liberia has worked with different grassroots organizations and has also partnered with other like-minded national NGOs.
